Useful software should earn its place

Good software should solve a real problem, stay understandable, and respect the person using it. GGS products are built with a practical mindset: make the tool useful, make it clear, and avoid adding complexity just because modern software has made complexity normal. We are not trying to build everything for everyone. We are trying to build useful things well.

Useful

Every product should solve a real problem.

Simple

The interface should stay clear and focused.

Respectful

Do not collect data just because we can.

Owned

When possible, simple tools should be bought once and used without becoming another forever rental.

Built for practical problems

Gorilla Garage Studios exists because small software products still matter.

Not every useful tool needs to become a giant platform. Not every app needs an account. Not every feature needs a dashboard. Sometimes the best product is the one that opens fast, does its job, and gets out of the way.

GGS is focused on building practical software for fitness, utilities, AI-assisted workflows, web tools, and small SaaS products.

Build useful products that solve real problems without unnecessary complexity.

How We Build

GGS is run like a workshop.

Start with a real problem. Build the simplest useful version. Test it. Improve the annoying parts. Keep what works. Cut what does not. Ship when the product is useful enough to stand on its own.

The goal is not to chase every trend. The goal is to build products that remain useful after the excitement wears off.

Current product focus

Gorilla Garage Studios is currently focused on practical fitness and utility products, with room to grow into AI-assisted workflows, small SaaS tools, and useful web products.

Fitness Apps

Tools for training, strength, consistency, and practical progress (e.g., Gym Timer, One Rep Max Calculator, Skinny to Strong).

Utility Apps

Small focused tools that solve specific problems without clutter.

AI-Assisted Workflows

Practical workflows that use AI where it helps, not just because it sounds impressive.

Web & SaaS

Maintainable web products built around specific user needs.

Built with respect for the user

We build practical software with a simple philosophy: don’t make users create accounts unless they need one, don’t collect data we don’t need, and don’t turn every useful tool into another subscription. When we can avoid accounts, subscriptions, and unnecessary data collection, we do.

Some products may need accounts, subscriptions, cloud services, or ongoing infrastructure when there is a real reason. AI-backed products, synced services, and larger applications may have real ongoing costs. But simple tools should stay simple.

We do not want to own your data. We do not want to rent you every little tool forever. When you buy something from us, the goal is simple: it should be useful, respectful, and yours.

Small on purpose

GGS is small on purpose. That keeps the work focused. It keeps the products honest. It makes every feature justify its place.

GGS is built by a longtime software developer who likes practical tools, clean interfaces, and products that do their job without getting in the user’s way.
